Started in 1900s

The initial idea of our product can be traced back to our ancestors of the kallipatti family in the early 1900s.Earning their livelihood as cattle herders, they placed enormous value on their animals and took meticulous care of their health. As a result of this they formulated their own cattle feeds with the dual objective of getting high fat milk and also to have a healthy reproductive cycle. The way the family took care of the animals brought them laurels in the village and they educated their fellow villagers with the right methods for making cattle feeds.

The family ensured that successive generations learned the formulation and true to the rich family heritage the descendants improved upon the formula.

The present family headed by Mr Sukumar and his son Mr Naveen Venkataraman are the custodians of this product formula and they have invested in scientific research to expand the product line and set up a state-of-the art manufacturing facility. Their present work is fuelled by their untiring passion towards animals' holistic health.

Commercial Venture

With the noble objective of providing quality animal feeds, Mr Naveen Venkataraman started the commercial venture in 2002. In less than 10 years the company grew rapidly and is now producing 600MT/month with the capacity to scale to 1000MT/month. Modern manufacturing practices coupled with efficient logistics has enabled them to secure and retain many prestigious clients in India like

Our competitive advantage stems from the fact that our product formula has been improved by 4 generations of kallipatti family who place very high value on their animals since that was the source of their livelihood. Continuous quality improvement through scientific research and state-of-the-art manufacturing practices has given us impenetrable market position in our product category.

We work closer with customers to help them achieve quality

We take pride in the fact that our growth so far has come virtually from word-of-mouth with almost no marketing effort/expenses. Our satisfied customers enables us to enjoy very high customer retention rate of 95% which is unheard of in the industry.

Mr. Naveen Venkatraman's hands-on approach with constant interaction with his customers and their workers enables him to learn continuously. The learning in turn is funnelled into enhancing the product quality. This approach of “Manufacture-Deliver-Evaluate-Enhance” is one of the hallmarks of Sriram Feeds.

We are confident of repeating our Indian success with our International Clients because ultimately we may be separated by borders, religion etc but our fundamental needs when it comes to animal husbandry are similar.
